Even the judge who is well-disposed towards a certain dog is at times unable to give him the placement he deserves if he is presented in bad form, poorly lead or insecure, and therefore unable to fully express his qualities. This leads us to the theme of our DVD: how can we make our stars shine? How can we highlight all of their qualities and above all, how can we make a Yorkie grow, developing his self-confidence and the boldness needed to be a winner?
We discuss these themes with the help of three famous experts: Marie Kaufman-Cardona, the experienced Parkside Yorkie breeder and hugely successful handler, Kirsten McGregor, a professional handler trained in the Barbara Beissel “school”, who has had resounding success in the most important American rings and Sergio Amien, a Worldwide successful professional handler, now based in Spain, co-owner of the famed Estugo kennel.
