AUCTION FOR ANNA

As many of you will have heard, our friend and colleague Anna Babaeva of Mini Shop Yorkies in Russia, had a tragic house fire at the beginning of the year, which so sadly took the lives of 3 of her precious dogs and 3 pups. Her house was destroyed. To show our solidarity with Anna and to tell her that the Yorkie community world wide cares for her and her loss, we have decided to organise an online auction. Marco & Antonella of Sweety Blue and Henny of Henceforths, have kindly agreed to run the auction through their "Yorky Club" website (www.yorkyclub.com).

The auction run for a month ending on March 15. The total money we were able to collect is about 3800 Euro. We will report on this page the exact final amount as soon as we will finish to receive the payments.

We are all friends because we are passionate about our precious Yorkshire Terrier. - when one of our own is hurt or injured we pull together and show how much we care.

Anna was very moved by knowing that Yorkie people all over the world care about her & her loss. This is what Anna Babaeva wrote us after the ending of the auction:

"My dearest friends!
It was very touching that in the disaster which fallen upon me you were there to render your helping hands.
Friends in need are friends indeed. And I use this old saying, because I can not find right words to express my sincere gratitude.
Every cloud has it's silver lining. And in my situation this lining turned out to be your support. I'm happy to have friends like you. And thank you all from the depth of my heart."

We also wish to thank you all so much for your GREAT participation both offering nice items and also buying most of them, allowing us to reach this fantastic result.
